It started out fine,
Together we would spend all of our time.
We became more than friends,
And then…
You started to blow my mind.


I’ll never forget the day the words came off of your lips.
All the promises, all the hopes and dreams…
Disappeared with an "I love you" & a goodnight kiss.
Now…

I can’t feel for the ones that love me.
I subconsciously keep myself from feeling.
Because of the damage that was done to me.
I’ve been hurt.

My friends, they all tell me to move on.
I spend so many nights and days…
Regretting the fact that you are gone.
I just want someone to love, someone of my own.
Now…
